NewStory Center Hosts Ribbon Cutting and Open House

Join NewStory Center for a ribbon cutting and open house at the beautifully renovated facility at 101 Grove Street in Rutland. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. with special remarks beginning at 3:30 p.m. Attendees are then encouraged to tour the new facility, chat with board and staff, and enjoy light appetizers.

This renovation will allow NewStory Center to increase the emergency shelter capacity of the organization with eight private rooms, communal living space, a community meeting room, and green space for children and families to enjoy.

The development team included Arnold and Scangas Architects, Naylor & Breen Builders, Inc, and Kulas Consulting, LLC. The project was generously funded by the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, City of Rutland ARPA Funds, Vermont Office of Economic Opportunity, 3EThermal, a statewide project of Capstone Community Action, and private donations.
